A Donegal man was fined for driving whilst using a mobile phone - and for wearing no seatbelt.
Francis Callaghan, 44, with an address at Tullnascreen, Churchill, Letterkenny was charged for failure to wear a safety belt - and for holding a mobile phone while driving.
Garda Elaine Gordon observed Mr Callaghan driving with no seatbelt on the 4th of August 2014.
Once she pulled the defendant over - she also observed he was holding a mobile phone in his right hand.
Judge Paul Kelly reiterated the dangers of wearing no safety belt - and driving whilst holding a mobile phone.
He fined Mr Callaghan €200 for driving while holding a mobile phone - and €100 for wearing no seatbelt.
