A woman who swung her shoe and shouted abuse after Gardai were called to an accident has been fined.
Kerrie O’Farrell appeared at Letterkenny District Court charged with intoxication and engaging in threatening and abusive behaviour.
The court heard how the 20-year-old, of Glenpatrick Park, Ballybofey, was on heavy doses of medication and had been mixing them with alcohol.
Garda Inspector Sean Grant said Ms O’Farrell had lost control and the situation became inflamed.
The court heard she was swinging her shoes and calling Gardai a “shower of bas*****.”
Judge Paul Kelly ordered Ms O’Farrell to pay €150 to Planet Youth in Ballybofey and he would strike out the charges.
